Janice E. Kowalski, age 71 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at her home. She was born on June 10, 1949 to the late Vincent and Milly DeGroat. She was the owner and operator of Taste of Home Bakery in Lake City until an automobile accident caused her to have to close the business in 2006. Since then, she and her husband had travelled extensively all over the East coast. She loved life and loved cooking. Often she had cookouts when she would invite many people to her home where she insisted on doing all the food preparation. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by: her husband, Walt Kowalski; three children; two step-daughters; two brothers; two sisters; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and many other family and friends.
