Obituary


Janice A. Ridenour Hatmaker, age 75 of Andersonville, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed with Longmire Bus Lines in Andersonville and has driven for Anderson County Schools since 1977. Children throughout the county have grown to love and respect Janice as their bus driver and friend. Janice was also an employee of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, where she had worked for several years and will be greatly missed by all the staff. Preceded in death by first husband, Luther "L.V." Hatmaker; second husband, Leland "Lee" Hatmaker; infant daughter, Athena Ann Hatmaker; grandson, Joey Hatmaker; parents, Clyde & Helen Oliver Ridenour and sister June "Buggy" Hammons.

Janice also had numerous other relatives and back porch friends that she loved and treasured.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, July 3, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Donnie Wallace officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday, July 4th at 11:00 AM at Red Hill Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
