Jane Florence Chatten Marquiss, born in Chicago, Illinois on 9-30-27 died at White Oaks, Clinton, Tennessee on February 19, 2010. She was married to John Hazen Marquiss from 1947-2004 and they had one daughter, Christine Marquiss Ganzer of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Beloved family, dearest relatives, friends, clients and sub contractors, you all know who you are. I died today, February 19, 2010. You represent the last circle of my life and because of you I feel my life has not been wasted, but has been filled with many gentle and profound memories in this beautiful state of Tennessee. I was not afraid as the holy spirit that passes all understanding surrounded me and is leading me to heaven. I will watch over you always, love Jane.

Visiting of friends will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held on Wednesday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton in the Mausoleum. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
