James H. Woods, age 71 of Clinton passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence. He attended Deep Springs Baptist Church. He retired from Alstom Powers after 40 years of service and was a U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and all the friends that he had made since retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvlee & Dorothy Woods.

Sisters-in-law: Debbie & Gary Beets & daughter Olivia of Clinton
Terrie Cox & daughter Macy of Heiskell

Friends: Chuck Laymon, Howard & Joie Jennings, Kenny Webber

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral following at 8:00PM with Rev. Allen Giles officiating.
