James (Jim) R. Whittlesey, age 66, of Knoxville, TN passed away April 23, 2016 at Park West Medical Center. He was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. Jim had many hobbies including golf, baseball, reading, woodworking, singing, bike riding and cooking out. He was also an avid boater. He enjoyed assisting and helping people through his career as a human resource manager and then in retirement as the neighborhood "Mr. Fix-it". He had a personality that always made others laugh. His favorite time of the year was taking beach vacations with his family.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence & Mabel L. Adams; father, Horace M. Whittlesey.
