James Harvey Towns III, age 72, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center.  James was born June 6, 1952, in Athens, GA, to the late James Harvey Towns II and Marie Powell Towns.  James owned and operated Appalachian Frame Shop for many years.

James is survived by his wife, Judith Towns of Clinton.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service held at a later date.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
