James (Jim) W. Taylor, age 72 of Powell, passed away August 2, 2015 at Diversicare of Oak Ridge/Briarcliff. He retired from Ridgeview Psychiatric where he was head of maintenance. He was an avid collector, especially coca cola items. James also enjoyed the outdoors and working with his pond and plants.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Ruth Taylor; brother, Kenneth Taylor; daughter, Beverley Taylor; former wife, Phyllis Taylor.

Jayson Taylor and wife Amanda
Grandchildren: Garrett, Ashley and Madison

The family will receive friends Friday, August 7th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 8th at 10:30AM at Solway Church of God cemetery. Rev. Sam Condon officiating.
