James "Harley" Shoffner, age 71, of Powell, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Preceded in death parents, Kelly Ed and Edna Shoffner; brother, Elbert Shoffner.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday in the chapel of Holley Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Kirkland. His graveside will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
