James Ralph Price, 67 of Clinton, passed away peacefully at Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls on February 2, 2015. He had fought a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially the Tennessee Volunteers. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He will be missed by many.
Preceded in death by mother, Thelma Dishman Price; father, Chester Price; niece, Jackie Wolfe Cook.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Loyd Price of Clinton; his daughter, Brigetta Kaye Price and grand dogs, Arthur and Miss Ellie of Maryville, TN; brother, Paul (Tina) Price; sisters, Margie (Mike) Wolfe, Joyce (Charlie) Leinart, Wanda (Larry) Forsythe; and Polly (Gary) Elliott, Arthur (Mary) Loyd, Joyce Loyd, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton for family and close friends. James will be laid to rest at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.holleygamblefh.com
