James Odis (J.O.) Overton, age 81 of Clinton, passed away December 18, 2012 at Golden Living Center-Windwood. He was a lifelong member of Zion Baptist Church. Odis was an avid farmer and enjoyed his time working on his farm. He also enjoyed his work as a machinist for over 37 years at Y-12 Plant until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Ewing.

Sister: Bonnie Montgomery
Grandchildren: Josh Kelley, Lucas, Jennifer, and Wesley Overton

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20th at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home from 6-8PM. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Glen Gamble officiating.
