James A. Mohrman, born March 5, 1930 of the late John W. and Ruth Zimmerman Mohrman of Fulton, IL, died March 26, 2017. Attended one year at St. Ambrose College, Davenport, IA.; B.A. degree from Missouri Valley College, Marshall, MO. Served U.S. Army two years post Korean War; received bachelor of Divinity McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, Il.; former pastor of Canyon & Rock Forge Presbyterian Churches, Monongalia County, WV, and Clear Creek, Colcord, & Marsh Fork Presbyterian Churches in Raleigh County, WV.
Retired in 1996. Since then volunteering with Mon County Habitat for Humanity. Then Moving to Norris TN after his wife's death. He was involved with Fountain City Presbyterian church, Norris Lions Club, Norris AARP and the newly formed Ride service NORVAT.
He was preceded in death by wife, Lou Ann Moeller Mohrman, three sisters, and, two brothers. He is survived by one sister and sons James T. Mohrman, Jon E. Mohrman, and daughter Catherine J. Moore. Donations can be given in lieu of flowers to Habitat for Humanity.
A non-denominational memorial gathering was held on April 8th at 3pm, at Joseph's Catholic Church Norris TN. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamble.com
