James "Jim" Elkins, age 81 of Andersonville, passed away on, Friday, February 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1935 to the late Robert and Mossie Allred Elkins in Anderson County. He was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Anderson County Highway Department for 42 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Anna Lee Henderson Elkins; sister, Wilma Jean Owens

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with the Rev. Tom Aiken officiating. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 10am at Hillvale Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
