Obituary


James J. Brummett, age 90 of Clinton passed away August 2, 2011 at his home. He was a life long member of South Clinton Baptist Church. He was a retired WWII Army veteran having served with Patton's 3rd Army, 455th AAA, 40mm Battalion. "Pee Paw" loved hunting and farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boman & Sarah Gilbreath Brummett; 4 sisters, 2 brothers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 6-8PM with funeral at 8:00PM in the chapel with Dr. Roger Pugh officiating.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 5th at 10:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
