Jake Webster Halley, age 89, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was a faithful member of Bishopville Baptist Church as long as he was able to attend. He served his country for 13 years in both World War II and the Korean War. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Edith Halley; son, Gerry Webster Halley; stepson, Herman Stephens; sisters, Ruth, Audrey, Elizabeth and Patricia; brothers, Robert, Tom, Virgil and Larry; 2 grandsons; 1 son in-law.
Survivors include:

Son: Michael (LaDonna)
Daughters: Jacquline, Connie, Juanita, Carol (Kerry), Carla, Loretta (Lee), and Cathy (Larry)
Step daughter: Betty (Wayne) Davis
Sister: Betty (Ivan) Lane
Ex-wife: Norma Jean
A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3rd from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Ed Bowne and Phil Poe officiating. Interment will be in Gallipolis, OH. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
