Jacky Ray Hankins, age 65 of Rocky Top, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 21, 1950 to John Hankins and the late Elizabeth Burton Hankins in Chattanooga, TN. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and also took pleasure in watching the Investigation Discovery channel on TV. Jack attended His Hands Reaching Worship Center in Clinton. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hankins and nephew John Bollinger.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Brother Lee Stanford officiating. Family and friends wishing to attend his graveside service will meet at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 12:30pm and will go in funeral procession to the Island Ford Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment.
