Jack Lee Rutherford, age 83, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Ruby Weaver Rutherford; stepmother, Louise Rutherford; infant son, Barry; infant sister, Mary Ann; and brother, Bob Rutherford. Jack retired from ORNL with 39 years of service. He also worked at the three Oak Ridge Plants as an escort following his retirement.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, May 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Clinton with funeral services to follow with the Rev. Stan Elliott officiating. His burial will be 11:00 am, Saturday at the Woodhaven Memorial Garden with full military honors at graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O.
