Jack R. Campbell, age 58, of Claxton passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center.
Thank you for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed. Jack was a kind, loving and generous man who loved and served God. His love for his wife showed through his eyes, word, and deeds. He was a Dad and best friend to his two sons and a "2nd daddy" to many more. He provided a Godly example of what a husband, father, papaw, brother, and friend should be. He had an unmatchable love for his kids, grandkids, and family. Jack was a cherished friend and a great influence on the many people he reached from the kids that he coached to those he helped to coach along in life.
He had a lifelong dream of owning his own business and he excelled in his occupation. He made all employees feel as if they were family, always had a listening ear, and when asked, counselled and prayed with them. He was a kind person, always a professional going above and beyond to make things work for his clients with never a doubt that he would just make it happen.
Jack loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind. His incredible kindness, smile, and singing praises to our Lord Jesus Christ was displayed every Sunday as he led worship at the churches he supported, Valley View UMC and Heiskell UMC. He had such a heart for others and dearly loved the people at both churches and the Claxton community which he fed once a year under the big tent, and through the mobile pantry.
Your sweet voice, your love and high spirit for Tennessee football, and your grilling skills will be missed. We love you. We didn't want you to go, but you are now in God's presence. I can only imagine the glory you felt at that first moment you met our Lord and Savior. Did you dance in His presence or stand in awe? I can only imagine.

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the chapel. His graveside will be 11:00 am, Friday at Anderson Memorial Garden.
