Iva A. Nelson, age 72 of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her residence. She was born on February 7, 1953, to the late James and Wanda Garner. She enjoyed cooking, flowering, watching the hummingbirds at her feeders, playing bingo and most of all being a "Nana." In addition to her parents, she was also proceeded in death by her son, Jeff Nelson; brother, Steve Garner; sister, Sharon Gaus; in laws, Archie and Ruby Nelson.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael Nelson; daughter, Beverly Roberts and son in law, Jamey Roberts; grandson, McKenzie Hogan; granddaughter, Sarah Hogan; great grandchildren, Wesley Townsend, Decker Gilbert and Ridley Gilbert (Stephen); brothers and sisters, Stanley Garner (Jo), Jeff Garner, Patsy Carroll, Melinda Martin (Dallas), Shelia Miracle (Hoby) and Judy Metcalf.
