Isaac Nathaniel Johnson, age 20, of Rutledge and formerly of Anderson County, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Isaac was a member of Lone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. His faith played a significant role in his life, especially after he was saved at the age of 14, a profound moment that continued to guide and inspire him throughout the years.
Isaac had a genuine love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Known for his remarkable sense of humor, Isaac was truly a jokester who could always make those around him laugh. His kindness and willingness to help others stood out; he had an exceptionally big heart and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Isaac will be fondly remembered for the love he shared with friends and family.
Isaac was employed at Rocky Top Materials, where he worked diligently as a material clerk.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Bruce.
He was survived by his loving mother, Malisha Johnson & dad Greg of Rutledge; grandparents, Johnny Bruce & wife Carolyn of Andersonville, Sue Nelson of Andersonville, Mark Nelson & wife Barbara of Heiskell, and Bill Moorefield & wife Dolly of Rutledge; uncles, Marcus Nelson & wife Melissa of Clinton, Michael Bruce of Andersonville, Rick Johnson & wife Katrina of Rutledge, and Ron Johnson & wife Shelia of Morristown; great uncle, Dale Whiteaker & wife Leighann of Andersonville; great aunts, Diane Wilson & husband Greg of Maryville, and Terry Viands of Frostproof, FL; cousins, Justin Bruce, Elijah Nelson, Levi Nelson, Carrie Green & husband Tim, and Maggie Whiteaker.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, December 22, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Freddie Bean and Noah Dison officiating. His graveside will be private at the Johnson Nelson Family Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. Holleygamble.com
