Imogene Doris Byrd, age 82, of Clinton passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012. She was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. She and her husband, Granville, owned and operated Byrd's Amoco Service Station for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Byrd; parents, W. Frank & Sallie McWane Hendricks; brother, Shirley Hendricks and an infant sister.

Survivors:

Daughter: Doris Bridges & husband Ronnie of Clinton

Granddaughters: Missy Emert & husband Bryan of Heiskell
Cindy Waldo & husband, Josh of Clinton

Great-Grandchildren: Cody Emert & Wyatt Waldo

Several nieces & nephews

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 5-7pm at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services at 7:00pm with Rev. Mack Smith & Rev. Joe Bridges officiating. Graveside services will be on May 7th at 2:00pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
