Illa Faye Hammons, age 82, of Clinton, passed away at her home May 19, 2016. She was a member of Blowing Springs Baptist Church for 70 years. Faye was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed bowling. She spent much of her time raising her nieces and nephews and especially enjoyed watching them play ball. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Cloris M. Rhea; brothers, Amos Rhea and James C. Rhea, Jr.; mother in-law, Thelma Hammons; sister in-law, Marie Pyle, niece, Kathy Harber.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21st from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating.
