Ila A. Robbins, age 87 of Andersonville, passed away Tuesday morning, July 28, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center.
Ila was an avid member of Red Hill Baptist Church, and she taught Sunday School there for many years. She enjoyed cooking and tending her flowers. Ila loved her family, reading her Bible, and sharing her faith.
Preceded in death by her husband, Hoye Robbins; parents, Lee and Grace Adkins; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Donna Adkins; brothers-in-law, Troy Hatmaker and Bill Stokes; and special niece, Darlene Miller.
Ila is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jerry Mason; Granddaughters and spouses, Sherry and Jeff Stotelmyer and Amanda and Thomas Hensch; great grandchildren, Allie, Brittany, Jeffrey, Kattilyn, Corey, Sammy and Dodge; great-great grandchildren, Kylie, Jax, Lilly and Ella; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Linda Adkins; sisters, Bernice " Pete" Hatmaker, Faye Adkins, and Hazel Stokes and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the 5 th floor Step Down Nurses of Methodist Medical Center for their care during Ila's stay.
The family will receive family and friends Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at 11:45 AM at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Donnie Wallace and Reverend Ricky Miller officiating.
