Ida Jenkins' Obituary
Ida Julia Jenkins, age 100 passed away in Shannondale Health Care Center on January 31, 2022. Born in
Defiance Co. Ohio to Henry and Dora Panning, she will be remembered for her determination and love
of family, fishing and ice cream. She was preceded in death by her husband Steven Jenkins, brothers
Alvin, Siegfried, Fred, Martin, and Paul, and sisters Dorothea Ohnesorge and Pauline Flaugh. She is
survived by sister-in-law Florence Panning (Martin) of Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews. A
graveside service will be on February 18, 2022. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 621
North Cedar Bluff Rd, Knoxville.
