Howard G. Watkins, age 82, of Clinton passed away June 9, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from Y-12 in Oak Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Clyde & Pearl Burgess Watkins; brothers, Joseph C. Watkins, Jr.

Survivors:

Wife: Winifred (Winki) Watkins of Clinton.

Sons: Michael G. Watkins
Terry S. Watkins & wife Lisa

Grandchildren: Tyler & McKenzie Watkins, all of Nashville

Brother: Robert L. Watkins & wife Lynn

Sister: Ruth W. Norton, both of Black Mountain, NC,

Brother-in-law: Bruce Mangum & wife Edna of Durham, NC

Several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church Pantry Fund or Scholarship Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 2-3 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, funeral service at 3:00Pm with Rev. Laurence Hesser officiating. Graveside service to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton.
