Howard "Hub" Franklin Chandler, age 80, of Heiskell, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. Howard was born on August 6, 1936 in S. Charleston, WV to the late Ira Londus and Dora Mae Perry Chandler. He was a US Navy Veteran; he loved the outdoors and woodworking. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Damon Chandler; brothers, Harold and Wesley Chandler; sisters, Dorothy Burnett, Helen Knight and Anna Tyree. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Vernice Chandler of Heiskell; sons, Mitchell (Vicky) Thaxton of Mims, FL, Will (Pattie) Chandler of Mims, FL, Chris (Sheila) Chandler of Heiskell, Ron (Linda) Chandler of Heiskell, Earl Chandler of Titusville, FL, and Bronson Chandler of Heiskell; Daughter, Dreama Stair of Clinton. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
