Rev. Homer E. Prewitt, age 90 of Clinton, passed away December 9, 2014 at Golden Living Center. He was a member of Church of God Mountain Assembly and was a minister for many years. He retired from public transportation. Homer was an US Army Veteran and served in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Martin and Eva Prewitt; sister, Rosalie Lovitt; brother, John W. (Bill) Prewitt; half- brother, James Earl Prewitt; step mother, Bessie Prewitt; step sister, Bonnie Hackworth; step brother, Homer Gross.

Son: James Michael Prewitt of Clinton
Daughters: Teresa Diana Holbert and husband Billy of Oak Ridge, TN
Linda Parkin and Larry Ceabolt of Marcelona, MI
Grandchildren: Jessica Russell, Candi Prewitt, and Daniel Holbert and wife Rebecca, Lindsey Prewitt
Half-brother: Carl Edward Prewitt of Muncie, IN
Step sister: Helen Webber of Clinton
Great grandchildren: Drew, Tyler, Cody, Alex and Sean

The family will receive friends Friday, December 12th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Joey Prewitt officiating. Graveside service with full military honors will be Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Seal, Gary Hackworth, Ralph Salts, Steve Smith, John Dycus and Ron Browe. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
