Herbert "Herb" Roger Miller, age 79 of Norris, passed away November 30, 2012. He was a member of Norris First Baptist Church and a member of the Andersonville Valley Masonic Lodge. Herb loved music and was well known throughout the region as an old timer banjo player.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Russell Miller; parents, Cecil and Martha Martin Miller; son, Randy Miller; sisters, Bernice Brasnaham and Doris Nichols.
Survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering at Norris First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 2nd from 6-8PM at Norris First Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Graveside service will be Monday, December 3rd at 2PM at Red Hill Cemetery in Andersonville. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
