Herbert Long, age 81 of Clinton passed away March 1, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Blowing Springs Baptist Church. He was U. S. Army Veteran and retired from the Oak Ridge School System.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorcey & Flonnie Cook Long; brother, Edward Long; sisters, Peggy Long, Phyllis Morris & Wilma Stanford.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Mike Harbin officiating.
