Helen Louise Robertson - age 79 of Lake City (formerly from Vasper) went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurba Ballard and Opal Ballard. She was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church. Helen retired after 30 years of teaching school in Campbell County. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob Robertson; step-mother, Mae Ballard of Lake City; sister Anna Lou Lafayette (Jim) of Cincinnati; son Robert Robertson Jr. (Diane) of Memphis; daughters Nan Disney (Bobby) of Caryville and Teena Moses (Larry) of Lake City; grandchildren Brad Disney (Susan), Amy Robertson, Tina Aven, Bobby Robertson, Kari Anna Watkins (Kevin), and Lori Moss (Kevin), Kristin Rains and Todd Moses; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Private services for the family will be held Monday, March 10th at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. Graveside services will be on Tuesday March 11th at New Vasper Cemetery.
