Helen Steadman Loy passed away May 2, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born August 9, 1914 in Anderson County to the late James Ross Steadman and Alice Cox Steadman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Loy; son, James A. Loy; step grandson, Denny Lynn Arnold; brothers, Claude, Kenneth, Clarence and Fletcher Steadman.

Survivors include sons, David Loy, William and wife Rochelle Loy; daughter, Alice F. Loy; grandchildren, Tammy Loy Jefferson and husband Dale, Stephen M. Loy and wife Darla, Brad Loy and Alex Loy; great grandchildren, Jordan and Danielle Jefferson, Naiah Fay and Kenna Michelle Loy.

Helen enjoyed taking care of her family and baking pies and cakes for church socials. She was a longtime member of South Clinton Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 5th from 4-6PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 6th at 11:00AM at Farmers Grove Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
