Helen Long, age 67 of Clinton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. Helen was born on June 22, 1943 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Jess and Ethel Long. Helen was a member of the Waldens View Baptist Church. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her brothers, William, JL, Ronnie, and Jimmy Long; Sister, Rema Nell Long.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. David White officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 10:15AM and go in funeral procession to the Indian Bluff Cemetery for a 11:00AM graveside service.
