Hazel Naomi McCoy, age 89, of Andersonville, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church. Hazel was born on October 6, 1935.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Earl McCoy; sons, Clyde McCoy and Darin McCoy; brother, Marshall Moles and his wife, Maxine; and sister, Mary Moles.

Hazel is survived by her son, Randy McCoy and his wife, Kim, of Andersonville; daughter, Pamela Elliott of Clinton; grandchildren, Mitchell Elliott of Clinton, April Nelson of Clinton, Stacy Hall and her husband, Jason, of Knoxville, Daniel McCoy and his wife, Brittney, of Rocky Top, and Stephanie Barnes of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Alexis Barnes, Gavin Barnes, Carter Nelson, Camden Nelson, Britton Hall, Caleb Hall, and Cameron Hall; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Shannondale Health Care Center for all the love and care, they gave to Hazel.

The family will receive friends at Holley Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Tyler Warwick, Justin Howard, and special friend Rev. Clay Mulford officiating. Family and friends will meet at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 25 at 10:00AM and go in funeral procession to New Loyston Memorial Garden for Hazel's interment.
