HARBER, HAZEL JEAN KIDWELL, 86, of Clinton, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at 12:30 p.m., at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, surrounded by her family. Born October 11, 1927, in Cotula, Tennessee, to the late Lee Deaderick Kidwell, Sr., and Elizabeth Ford Kidwell, Hazel was the ninth of ten children, and the last to die. She also lived longer, 86 years, than both her parents and all her siblings. On April 16, 1949, she married Glen Edward Harber in Lafollette, Tennessee, and remained married over fifty eight years until his death on September 10, 2007. Hazel worked for the federal government in Oak Ridge from 1945 to 1983, accumulating over thirty-four years' of service (taking time off to have her sons). She is survived by two loving sons, John Philip "Phil" Harber and wife, Marty, of Clinton, and Mark Steven Harber and wife, Phyllis, of Niceville, Florida, and two grandchildren, Alexander Matthew "Alex" Harber and Laura Elizabeth Harber, of Niceville. The family gives thanks to her devoted caregiver, Ashley Robbins. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 5, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Clinton. Services will follow, conducted by the Reverend Mike Harbin, husband of Hazel's niece, Vickie Kidwell Harbin and Rev. Stan Elliott. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden, Clinton, on Thursday morning, March 6, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., when the family will gather at the funeral home for a procession to the cemetery.
