Harold Eugene Doughty, age 92, of Claxton, was called home on Friday, December 5, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II and naval reserve and Seabee's. Harold retired from Southern Railway, Y-12 and the United States Naval Reserve Seabee's. Preceded in death by the mother of his children, Evelyn Yarnell Doughty; parents, Benjamin Franklin and Alberta Doughty; special aunt and uncle, Clara and Walter Harris and great grandchild, Isaac Trace Jones.
