Harold Bailey, age 81 of Clinton, passed away September 2, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born in Jefferson County and moved to Clinton in 1955. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from AT&T after 35 years. Harold was an avid bowler and served as Secretary of Oak Ridge Bowling Association for 5 years. He also served as league secretary of various leagues in Clinton and Oak Ridge, participated in ten National Bowling Tournaments throughout the United States.He was a past member of Clinton Little League Baseball Inc., Optimist Club, Booster's Club and served 40 years on Clinton Recreation Board.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Kier Bailey; parents, Joe and Mae Bailey; brother, Arvil Bailey.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 5th from 5-7 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Joel Dew officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday, September 6th at 10:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Baptist Church of Clinton.
