Grover Cleveland Hicks Jr. went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was an angel who was walking among us, and will be truly missed. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed him, not for praise or fortune, but for the love of God and family. You could see Jesus in him when he smiled and when he talked. He was a very caring and loving man and he will forever remain in our hearts.

Grover was preceded in death by his parents: Grover Cleveland Sr. and Ida Hicks and his wife Linda Gail Hicks.

He is survived by:
Children; Gala Hicks, Felicia Harvey and Grover Cleveland Hicks the third.
Grandchildren; Hunter Fegley, Austin Gibbs, Kaliegh Hicks and Taylor Hicks.
Sisters; Diane Perkey, Ida Johnson, Johnny Dougan.
Brothers; David Hicks, Burl Hicks, Mike Hicks, Joe Hicks.
Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 pm, Friday, October 7, 2016 at Riverview Baptist Church. Celebration of Life service will follow his visitation with Rev. David Hicks officiating.
