Glen R. Hutson, age 73 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, surrounded by his loving family. Glen was born on April 29, 1937 in Clinchmore, Tennessee to the late Henry and Mammie Finley Hutson. Glen was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid University of Tennessee Lady Vols and Cincinnatti Reds fan. Glen also enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Glen is preceded in death by his Daughter, Janice Rose Hutson; Brothers, Bill, Buck, Bobby, and Elden Hutson; Sisters, Betty Rose Hutson and Magaline Hutson.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10:15AM and go in funeral procession to the Queener Cemetery in Caryville for a 11:00AM graveside service. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
