Gladys York age 69 of Speedwell, TN passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Tennova Hospital in Lafollette, TN. She was born and raised in New River. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Howard York; mother, Margie Daugherty West; father, James West; and her brother, John Henry West.
Gladys is survived her daughter, Shelia Branscomb of Speedwell, TN; sons, Henry York of Clinton, TN, Marty (Jaimie) York of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Loretta Cox, Joyce Jarnigan, and Lois Bray all of Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Tristan (Becky) Branscomb, Hollie (Brandon) Collins, Tiara Branscomb, Dustin Pittman, Ashley York; great grandchildren, Brandy Branscomb, Zoe Branscomb, Nevaeh Collins, Braylee Collins, Chandler York, Harper York, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Gladys's graveside will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Jarnigan Chapel Cemetery at 10:00 am. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is charge of arrangements. holleygamblefh.com
