Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Mrowka, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away surrounded by family in the comfort of his home on Oct 24, 2025.

Mr.Mrowka was born in Detroit Michigan on August 30, 1943 and lived in Andersonville and Norris for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force who saw combat and served his country with honor. In civilian life, he loved cooking, reading, writing any kind of computer program, and spending time with family and friends, of which he had many over the years. He will be remembered as a gentle soul with a heart of gold who would do anything he could to help someone in need. He had a particular soft spot for children and donated to many children's charities. He will be very much missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Mrowka is preceded into death by his parents, John and Leona Mrowka.

He is survived by his sister Andrea (Wayne) Wilson, and his niece and nephew, Danielle (John) and Jeremy Wilson.

A viewing will be from 1-2 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Norris Memorial Garden with Full Military Honors.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family ask that donations in Mr. Mrowka's memory be made to the children's charity of your choice.
