George McClure, age 64, of Clinton, went home to be with his heavenly father on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born May 17, 1960, in Andersonville, Tennessee, to the late Fred and Maggie McClure.  Throughout his life, he loved riding his tractor, fixing lawnmowers, kayaking, and celebrating good times with friends and family.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry McClure, Claude "Shorty" McClure, and Danny McClure.

He is survived by a brother, Roger McClure; sisters, Mandy Parrott & husband Chuck, Diana Lee & husband Dewayne; niece, Samantha McClure & husband David "Smokey" Vanhuss; sisters-in-law, Diana McClure and Angela McClure; special friends, Teresa Shope and Amanda Phillips; several other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm at Holley Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2024.  Friends and family will meet at Holley Gamble Funeral Home at 10:15 am, December 31, 2024, and proceed to King Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
