George Campbell, age 78 of Clinton, passed away February 19, 2012, at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church. He retired in 1996 from Y-12 as a journeyman machinist and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. "Frank" was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved to ride, especially riding across the country with his friend, Paul White. He also enjoyed billiards and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Bennett Campbell; parents, Robert Lee Campbell and Mona Foust Bryant.

Brothers and Sisters: James Campbell, Shirley Campbell and Joyce Rittenberry

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Oak Ridge Senior Center or South Clinton Optimist Club.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 24th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Roger Pugh officiating.
