George Thomas Black, 67, died February 2, 2016 at the family home. Graduate of Powell High School, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Preceded in death by parents, Buford and Irene Longmire Black, brother, Robert Kelly Black and sister, Mary Katheryn Martin. Survived by brothers, Charles E. (Gene), of Tullahoma; James R. (Jim) of Powell, and William R. (Bill) of Lebanon. Sisters, Elizabeth Wendelken (Joe) and Sue Watson (J.B.), several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
