Genith Marie Bunch Duncan, better known as June, age 81 of the Laurel Grove Community went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 22, 1934 in New River, Tennessee to the late Clarence and Vadia Carroll Bunch. June was a member of the Browns Flat Baptist Church where she loved her church and her church family. She was a retired merchant where for many years, she along side her parents and sister, owned and operated Bunch's Grocery. Upon her parents retirement, she and her sister continued the business and changed the name to J&P Grocery.
In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Duncan; Sister, Pearl Bunch and Brothers, Noah and Baby Bunch

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 5-7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with the Bro. Audrey Goins officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, January 15 at 9:00AM in go in funeral procession to the Bray Cemetery in New River for a 11:00AM interment. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top is serving the family during this time
