Gary Ridenour, age 77, of Andersonville, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Knoxville, TN, on December 14, 1947, to the late Henry Harrison and Mary Helen Henderson Ridenour.

Gary was a United States Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed working on the farm and his farm equipment. Gary graduated from Norris High School, Class of 1967.

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his brother Kimble Ridenour, sister Henretta Hunley, and brother-in-law Patton Stewart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Tommie Ridenour; sons Jason Ridenour and his wife Inga, and Stewart Ridenour; grandchildren Hanna, Jacob, and Harper Ridenour; sister Gail Ward; aunt Ivaray Keeton; uncles Bill Ridenour and Larry Ridenour; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Larry Ridenour and Rev. David Seiber officiating. Gary's graveside service will be held at Norris Memorial Garden following the funeral service, with full military honors presented by Campbell County Honor Guard.
