Fred Earl Gladding, age 78, of Columbia, SC formerly of Powell, TN passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. For 18 years Fred played baseball with the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros then for the next 22 years he coached with the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. Fred was a member of Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Lizzie Gladding.
