Fred Cecil Crowe, age 87 of Norris, went home to be with Jesus on November 3, 2013, peacefully at Tennova Hospice in Knoxville. He was a member of Hinds Creek Baptist Church and worked many years at Brookside Cotton Mills. Fred loved telling stories when he was younger, singing "I'll Fly Away" and dancing.
Preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Helen Crowe; daughter, Janice; son, Ricky; sisters, Marie Lindsey, Hazel and Karrie,; brothers, Harold, Frank and Raymond.

His" best buddy" Eddie Childress, which he loved dearly.
He was also survived by numerous grandkids, nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 6th, from 4-6PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton and Thursday, November 7th, from 11-2 at Lone Mountain Church in Andersonville. Funeral service will begin at 2PM. Graveside will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie and Adam Childress, Jeff Lewis, Steve Hutchison, Ed Bell and Robert Pratt.
