Obituary

Frankie Kay Havener, age 62, of Andersonville, peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Born on September 17, 1963, in Knoxville, Frankie was a cheerleader and graduate of Powell High School, Class of 1981. She was saved and baptized at Black Oak Baptist Church in Knoxville. Frankie touched many lives through her compassionate work as an X-ray Technician, where her caring heart was evident in the gentle way she cared for her patients. Her love extended beyond people, as she was known for her kindness to animals, often taking in strays and providing them with a loving home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Frank Bruhin and Audrey Mae Owens Bruhin.

Frankie is survived by her sisters, Debbie Barnes and husband Steve, Tammy Mellon and husband Mike, Hope Brazzell and husband David, as well as her ex-husband and friend, Tom Havener. She is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews who brought joy to her life.
