Frank Shannon, age 56 of Clinton, passed away August 17, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Elzic Shannon and nephew, Richey Sharp. He is survived by his mother, Verdie Shannon; sisters, Faye Sharp and husband Richard, Rita Rutherford and husband Phillip and Pearl Fritts and husband Leon; special aunt, Artie Ward Burge and husband, Lee; host of family and friends. Frank enjoyed spending times with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 19th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be at 8 o'clock in the chapel with Rev. Leon Fritts and Phillip Rutherford officiating. Interment will be Saturday, August 20th, at 10:00AM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
