Obituary


Frank "Bookie" Bratcher, age 78, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Frank was born on June 1, 1934 to the late Tom and Mae Weaver Bratcher in Anderson County, TN. He was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. Franks was also a veteran having served in Germany during his time of service. His hobbies were wood working, gardening and working puzzles. In addition to his parents, Franks is preceded in death by sister, Wilidean Galloway and brother, Harold Bratcher.

Wife of 38 years..Glenith Seiber Bratcher of Lake City
Sister.Shirley Henegar of Ohio
Brothers.Wayne Bratcher and wife Irene of Clinton
William Bratcher and wife Jewell of Andersonville
A host of other family and several nieces and nephews
Several good friends who helped in many ways, special thanks to T.J Johnson and George Horton who provided transportation to doctor offices and hospitals.
The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Wayne Phillips and Rev. Houston Carroll officiating. Frank's graveside will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 2:00PM.
