Forrest Harding Johnson, age 92 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully October 16, 2014, surrounded by family at U.T. Medical Center. He was a US Navy veteran that served with honor in WWII on PT Boat 372. He was an extraordinary man whose intellect was only exceeded by his unbounded generosity. Forrest was an active participant in Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anna Lou Sharp Johnson; parents, Judson and Edith Crain Johnson; brothers, Leon, Herbert and Harold Johnson; nephews, Jimmy and Wayne Johnson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 19th from 2-3 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Military graveside service will follow at Sinking Springs Church Cemetery with Rev.
